The Technician Department performs installations of various software supported by the department, including operating systems supported by the department, antivirus software, backup and recovery software, and connecting computers to the university network and network drive mapping settings.
As of October 2017, the service is provided only as part of a yearly contract, e.g. technician services must be purchased for the period from October 1st to September 30th of the relevant year (service per ticket is no longer provided).

Opening a support ticket
Contacting technical support is done via a computerized system that efficiently and transparently directs that ticket to the relevant support division.
The submitter of the ticket can track the ticket’s status. Notes can also be added during the process, and a survey can be filled out after the ticket has been closed to rate the service.
